Black Lace

I have been on the hunt for a lace skirt for SO long.  I finally found the perfect one at Forever 21 yesterday for $22.80.  I absolutely love it, it fits me like a glove without having to sacrifice the ability of sitting down.  I paired it with my Old Navy sweater to make it a bit more interesting and then threw on a spiked necklace with pearls on it.
Now I wish I had someplace to actually go.  I basically got dressed up to spend almost 4 hours in a furniture store.

Green Hair Bow

While visiting St. Helena yesterday I stopped by a fair trade store filled with lots of goodies.  When I saw this green knitted hair bow I knew I had to get it.  It's so adorable and completely not something that I would usually get.  There's something about it that just completes the look!

Tempt

I only wore this outfit for about 4 hours.  Which is a shame because I like it quite a lot. Actually, I have just decided that I'm going to wear it today.  That's right, I am an outfit repeater.  But hey, I look at it as being a good thing.  You wouldn't go to In-n-Out once, think it was amazing, and then never go there again because you've already eaten there.  You keep going and going until you're sick of it! (even though it's impossible to get sick of In-n-Out)
The lipstick is the newest addition to my collection: Covergirl Super Lustrous in Tempt.  It's a deep, wine red that looks so pretty on any skin tone.

Neon Lips and Leopard Print

For some reason I have always been anti-animal print.  I always saw it as being slightly tacky and just all around kind of strange.  But then I saw this sweater at Old Navy and decided to take the plunge and see what I could do with it.  Love! I've also been trying to find a way to wear this faux suede tuxedo blazer that I've been dieing to wear. Voila! I perfect combination! I'm going to be honest; I really don't like these jeans with this outfit.  But I wanted to wear ripped jeans so that the outfit didn't look too dressed up/beyond my years.
And I of course had to add neon pink lips to liven up the neutral colors.  I'm trying out NYX's Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa.  So far so good! I absolutely love the look of matte lipsticks when they're a daring shade.  It tones them down a little bit but not too much in an unexpected way.

J. Crewesque

Today I felt very J. Crew.  Which is perfect fine for me because that is my all time favorite store even though I can't afford anything from it.  Their pieces are feminine, classic, and timeless.  One day when I make it big, my closet is going to basically be the equivalent of a J. Crew store.
I have been on the hunt for a nice denim shirt since summer.  Although I wanted a medium wash one, I finally found a light wash one at Old Navy.  There's always fabric dye!  I've also been on the hunt for an affordable pair of black skinny jeans that actually fit me.  Trusty Forever 21 came to the rescue once again! I found these babies for $11 and they're perfect!

Me As An Outfit

This outfit is pretty much just ME.  It has everything that I love: stripes, jeans, Converse, turquoise, and neon lipstick.  I got this sweatshirt yesterday at Forever 21; it super comfy, has a cute bow in the back, and of course, STRIPES!  I love wearing a fun lipstick color when wearing a classic striped shirt.  It automatically makes the outfit more interesting and unexpected.  Also, lately I've really been liking cuffing up my jeans.  Who cares if it makes me look shorter? Cuffing them up means that I can show my high tops, so I can sacrifice the height impairment.

I'm obsessed with this sweater, jeans, boots, watch, and nail polish.  I'm basically obsessed with this outfit.

Purple Cords

Sorry about not posting for almost a week, life has been super busy lately.  Also, my camera sometimes doesn't want to work for me.  But that's ok, I still love the little guy.
Today I wore a relatively foolproof outfit.  I wanted to be comfortable without having to resort to yoga pants, a sweatshirt, and Uggs.  The only downside is that these tights make my legs super itchy.  But since they have a cool pattern I learned to deal with it.

Rage

I just got this nail polish and I'm already in love.  I might even go as far as to say that this is my all time favorite nail polish.  It's called Rage by the brand, Orly.  I've been eyeing this polish for a long time now and finally decided to splurge on it's $8 price.  It's a shimmery/glittery nail polish without being too obnoxious.  The color is a champagney, rose gold color that I must admit goes great with my skin tone.  Totally recommend this nail polish!

The Newest Addition to My Coat Obsession

My Mario got me this amazing coat from Abercrombie & Fitch.  This is by far the best quality coat I have ever owned.  It's structured perfectly!  And best of it all it has toggles! I instantly love anything that has toggles.  The lining is also made from wool but it has an adorable plaid print.  But nobody sees that anyways :/.  The sleeves are a bit long, but I think they're supposed to be like that.  Eventually I'll probably have them tailored to fit my short arms.
This scarf is such a pain.  I was constantly finding fuzz in my mouth throughout the whole day.  And it also got purple fuzz all over my jacket.  This thing is currently in the washer and drier getting defuzzed.

Freezing My Legs Off

Yesterday I froze my legs off.  But it was completely worth it because I got to wear my very first maxi dress.  I've always loved the trend but could never find one that was the right length considering I'm only 5'1ish.  But on Black Friday I went to Anthropologie only to find that they were having an amazing sale: 50% off all clearance items.  I found this cotton long sleeved maxi dress for $20!  And the bonus? It has STRIPES!  Hi, my name is Natalia, and I am a stripes addict.
The downside was that it was of course dragging on the ground way too much.  But that was easily fixed by adding a belt to the waist and draping the excess fabric over the belt so that it was concealed.
So that I wouldn't completely freeze to death I added my trusty denim jacket and my white cowl.  This outfit would have been really cute with a pair of Rainbows or just a pair of gladiators.  But since I decided to be realistic I wore my converse instead.
