Wyatt

I have been obsessed with the Dolce Vita Wyatt booties for quite some time now.  The only problem was that they're $130. But then I found the EXACT same shoe at Target for $35!  They look like the exact same shoe! See for yourself:

P.S. The Mossimo boots are in fact black, but for some reason they're looking slightly gray in the pictures.

Quick Tip: Bright Eyes

The purpose of makeup is not to coverup imperfections, but instead enhance what you have.  One of my favorite quick tips is using a shimmery white or champagne shadow to brighten your eyes.  This can fool people into thinking that you're fully rested, when in reality you're beyond ready to hit the hay.

There are plenty of options to achieve this look: creme eyeshadow, eyeshadow, and pencil.

With a creme eyeshadow and regular eyeshadow you can either use a pencil brush, a q-tip, or the easiest thing: your pinkie finger.  Simply pack whatever tool you're using with the shimmery product and place it on your inner corner.  With whatever is leftover on your tool, sweep it below the arch of your brow.  Do the same thing if you're using a pencil, but be sure and blend away any harsh lines.

Doing this not only makes you look more awake, but it also gives the illusion of a more lifted brow. This little step can make a huge difference and is perfect because it only adds about an additional 10 seconds to your morning routine.   Good luck!

Maybelline Color Tattoo

These creme eyeshadows by Maybelline have been all the rage ever since they came out a couple weeks ago.  So of course I had to hop onto the band wagon and find out how good these actually are.

Maybelline claims:
-Ink technology creates 24HR wear shadow for our most intense, long-lasting color saturation
-Cream formula glides on without creasing and keeps color vibrant, smudge-proof, and crease-proof

There are 10 colors in the collection, but I decided to be practical and only get the neutral shades. I am pleasantly surprised with these since drugstore creme eyeshadows are notorious for being very sheer and crease like crazy.  There are rumors that these are better than MAC Paintpots.  I could never bring myself to pay the $17.50 price tag on a Paintpot but I was willing to pay $5.49 for the Color Tattoos.

Not Just For Blondes

I used to not even give yellow a chance because I thought that it only looked good on blondes.  That was until I saw this shirt.  I want it in every single color possible.  The cut of it is perfect, it has cute shoulder detailing, and it has STRIPES!
These jeans are also new, and amazing.  They fit me perfectly. And get this; only $11! They're from of course, Forever 21.

Kiddie Shoes

Yesterday I bought these cute little guys for $10 at Target.  The thing is, they're a girl's size 3. Usually I'm a size 6 in women's shoes.  Weird.  Regardless, these shoes are so cute!

Tightless

Who knew that I would be able to wear a skirt without tights in the middle of January?  This kind of makes me sad considering we really didn't get much of a winter this year.  C'mon, rain! We're tired of our hills being brown! Regardless, I was quite excited to have a "springish" day today.
When putting together an outfit, it's all about balance.  For example, today I wore a scarf so that my neck would be warm because I knew that my legs would be cold.  If that makes any sense...
This scarf is my newest addition.  When picking out the yarn I wasn't too sure how much I would like it since gray isn't much of an exciting color.  But I am absolutely in love with this color!  It's not so light that it's boring, but it's not too dark (avoiding the "I'm trying to hide behind my huge black scarf" emo look).
As for the skirt, I got it for $5 at Forever 21!  They were buy 2 for $10 so I got another just like it.  For some reason I don't buy a lot floral pieces.  No, I know why.  It's because I just gravitate to anything with stripes, therefore not giving any other pattern a chance.
